This movement began with just one voice—one person who believed that change starts with courage and compassion. Born from a deep commitment to inclusivity, non-violence, human rights, and democracy, our mission has grown into a collective call to action. We are everyday people coming together to stand against injustice, uplift marginalized voices, and build a future rooted in dignity and equality for all. What started as a solitary stand is now a growing community, united by the belief that real change begins when we rise together.

In partnership with 50501, we’re bringing our shared values of inclusivity, non-violence, human rights, and democracy to Volusia County and the surrounding areas. Together, we are building a strong, grassroots presence that empowers individuals to speak up, get involved, and drive meaningful change in their communities. By organizing, educating, and amplifying local voices, we are making sure that no one is left out of the conversation—and that the movement for justice and equality continues to grow stronger, louder, and more united every day.

Who We Are

Just Us Volusia is a peaceful, nonconfrontational, non-violent action group created to educate on issues and events, organize events, and build community in Volusia County. We believe in democratic (lower d) government, the Constitution (uppercase C0) and are non-party affiliated. We are Daytona Beach 50501. We stand united in promoting democracy, justice, and the core values that make America strong - freedom, equality, and respect for all. This is a safe, inclusive space for EVERYONE regardless of background or beliefs, to come together, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations about the issues shaping our country today. We're committed to providing resources, fostering open dialogue, and supporting each other as we navigate the current political landscape and fight against hate and tyranny. Together, we seek to protect the values that unite us and work toward a future where democracy thrives.
